The Tree-School

The decolonizing and the knowledge that comes from this process are a common grounds between Grupo Contrafilé and Campus in Camps – an experimental educational program based in Bethlehem’s Dheisheh refugee camp in Palestine, and directed by Sandi Hilal and Alessandro Petti. Together in the project Mujawara from the Tree-School, both groups created a publication that also aims to gather knowledge from regions geographically distant from each other, but that strive for equality and social justice. Available for reading in Mujawara's space at the #31Bienal (Park area, ground floor of the pavilion), the Tree-School book may also be downloaded here
