One of the world’s premier museums hosted the final 31st Bienal Open Meeting on February 20, 2014. Inaugurated in 1992, the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia (MNCARS) is home to one of the most important collections of modern and contemporary art in the world. Located in an 18th-century building, a former hospital in the Atocha zone, the museum forms Madrid’s 'art triangle' alongside the Museu do Prado and Museu Thyssen-Bornemisza.
