Daniel Lie – Public dismantling of Outres

On December 10, the last day of the 35th Bienal de São Paulo, Daniel Lie’s installation-entity Outres will be publicly dismantled. The work, which lived in the Pavilion for three months, will have its closing process open to the public. This farewell takes into account the partnership of other-than-human beings and the importance of caring for their remains.

Part of the elements that make up the installation will be reused in future works and the elements that live and die will go to a compost bin so that they can continue to perish.
